I tried a Medela hand pump for a while. Electric is so much better!! I forget which model I had, but it was also Medela.

My sister is giving me her electric medela pump, she used it for only 1 week in September..so I'll just buy new accessories for it. I also have a hand pump I've never used as back up.

With DD1 I used the cheap Playtex double electric breast pump and it was awful. This time around my insurance covers Medela Freestyle so that is what I am going to go with.

I think it is a law that they are covered

Anyhow, I have used a few. I used a medela, playtex and ameda. Playtex was junk, but I liked the others! I liked ameda the best. I have also heard great things about the lanoish infinity.
