With my first kid, hubby was totally against CDing. Six months into it he thought it was grrat and wondered why all parents didn't do it. Lol

My hubby didn't mind but thought I'd give up. I started when DS1 was 6 months old (he's now 3 1/2) and continued it with DS2 and he is now 21 months and still using them. DH has certain diapers that he won't use because he says he can't fold them right but he will use pocket diapers.

Mine is skeptical..he doesn't think I'll want to do diaper laundry every other day. I figure I have no choice since if I don't then baby won't have diapers! I don't mind washing laundry but I hate folding it so all I have to do is stuff diapers & put them away, that doesn't bother me.

I got a lot of pocket diapers w/ snaps & then some with Velcro which I think will be easy for him.

I'm almost done with my stash & I've spent under 200 so far..only need a few more diapers, wet bags & some detergent & I'm done..so it's gonna save us a ton!

He's okay with it. This is good because he'll probably end up doing a bulk of the laundry anyway.

Steve acknowledges how much work they are (in comparison to sposies that you just throw away) and always questions me on how much I spent, lol. He insists we aren't going to cloth this baby until s/he is in one size dipes (like the ones we have for Izzy now. Little does he know I've got some newborn dipes and prefolds on the way!

My husband seems to be fine with it. So much better than filling our trash can every week and having chemicals on our baby's bum.

We are going to Cloth diaper. I started with my second child at about 10 months and I will never go back. I have orderd some already for this little guys. Most of my friends think I am crazy. My hubby it totally down with it, He said if he can make is through Iraq he can make it through cloth diapers! LOL. Good sight to buy from is Green Mountain Diapers: Cloth diapers and diaper covers for baby I have 10 of the work horse fitted's. youtibe reviews for this diaper were great. They seem really good to when I got the package well made etc. Here is the linke to them for anybody who wants to look... Green Mountain Diapers: Cloth Diapers

BF really does not care. He's like that with pretty much everything. Our arrangement kind of works out for me - I have a lot of experience with babies and children, and he has none. He isn't the reading and research type so I'm his source of authority on everything.

I'd like to do it, I just don't know if we'll be able to afford to get what we need.

We used 'gDiapers' with our last one until she was about a year old and both enjoyed the convenience and impact on the environment.
However my sister whose baby was born last July uses cloth diapers for her 8 month old and has been very consistent. She says she will pass the diapers on to us and my BF is fine with it. However I'm the one questioning it. We can't even get a regular laundry routine for our clothes. I can't imagine keeping on top of the diapers. I'll see how it goes--if not I'm going back to g's. At least you just wash the outerlayer and throw out or flush the rest!

My hubby said he was fine with it since I'm gonna be home with the Megan and the baby. I just hope I can go through with it.

It's a financial decision for us, so DH is on board if it saves money. Disposables exclusively for twins is just not in our budget with me becoming a SAHM. 1 Costco size box/week by my calculations, no way! We will use disposables sparingly if needed when we are out & about for long periods of time or other people watch the kids at their house.
