As I probably have mentioned before, Melbourne is currently at the end of a 12 day heatwave,.

On the train this morning there were some delays caused by a signal box on fire, the train before mine was cancelled and my train was one of the new ones with windows that cannot open... and the aircon was broken.

Last thing I remember was having some lady's boobs in my face, then being shaken by a group of people and being moved off the train, so I figure I blacked out.

The staff at the train station called an ambulance and I went off to hospital with dehydration, low BP and low BSL.. Poor baby was showing signs of dehydration too, so I was put on fluids.

But I am home now and other than a headache, I am feeling okay.

oh no, glad you are OK and you got treatment! why would they remove windows that open on a small confined train car? i mean they dont need to open all the way, but a couple inches to let air flow through.

Because they have fancy air systems now... which is absolutely wonderful when they work. Not so much when they don't.

The paramedic that was sitting with me in the ambulance was really peeved about it, apparently she wants to speak to her director about putting in a complaint because the train really shouldn't have been running.

This is scary! I'm glad you're okay, but blacking out and going to the hospital are no good. Cool down, Melbourne weather!

Thanks guys, feeling back to normal today, just making sure that I am drinking more.

And thankfully it is overcast today, so no glaring sunshine. Come on rain.

Glad to hear you and baby are okay -- you're moving into winter there, so maybe things will get a little easier for you. Hopefully that doesn't mean those of us on the other side of the world will be going through this in a few months!
Keep your little one safe and hydrated! Water, water, water! And sit in front of the A/C!

Glad to hear you are ok! I have been passing out more lately t oo and it's getting embarrassing! Luckily nobody has called paramedics because I usually regain conciousness quickly and tell people I'm fine, just pregnant. It is annoying though because I can't stand still more than 5 minutes without passing out (sometimes less). I am worried it is going to get even worse with the hot weather approaching. I guess it's just one of those fun parts of being pregnant.
