Yep, I have HB/reflux and I've been downing tums and Zantac since it's on the safe list my DR gave me. Next appt I'm asking about it because it sucks. You coule try sleeping sitting up or propped, that may help, and tums, and... idk what else. My MIL swears by the baking soda and lemon juice trick but that is harmful when PG so that's out.
I have also found my burps sometimes come with a little extra, I wonder if it's all due to the squishing going on inside of us. I feel like my innards shouldn't be that squished yet but they are!
I was just asking DH last night what the difference between reflux and heartburn was. I've never had either prior to getting pregnant, but it sure feels like acid is creeping up into the back of my throat when I lay down at night.
I've been sticking to milk and yogurt (and ice cream) which seems to work for now.

YES! I had it really bad with DD but it was at the very end. I'm worried that it's already bad now. I'm taking zantac also but I will have the acid in my throat throughout the day. It's awful. I also drink a lot of milk but there are so many foods that give it to me it's impossible to avoid them all.
