Anyone know of any good ones ... Even better do anyone know of any thats online? Since im now on modified bedrest ( which basically mean is i can walk around a little) I really want to do some excerise that going to help with all the hip, leg and back pain im having...
1. Gaiam Prenatal Yoga with Shiva Rea. Of the two, I prefer this one. It's longer and pretty gentle, and it does make me feel good. The studio where they filmed is serene, and you can see women at different stages of pregnancy modifying the yoga poses. Every once in a while the spoken instructions are a little out of sync with what they're actually doing, but after a few times through you can anticipate that and roll with it.
2. "Element" Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga. This is a quicker video, and the scenery is beautiful. However, I don't use it very much. It's hard to put my finger on it, but there's something I find kind of creepy about it. I think she always tells you to smile? I'll smile if I feel like it, thanks. But a lot of the yoga is similar to the first video, so there's nothing wrong with that part of it.
I have the Element Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga video as well. I like how quick it is, but I still hate doing it. It REALLY helps me when I have bad back pain. I know I should do it more often to prevent the pain, I just don't. I've watched the video enough to know what movements really help, and do those from time to time.
