if you shave down there, has it become difficult? tonight i realized i can no longer see anything below my huge bump. if i lean far to the side, i can see my bikini line, but that's it. so i shaved blindly.

I am a baldy too and thats how I do it. I could have a blind fold on and stilll have a perfect shave. No waxing after the first trimester just for my comfort level.

Umm I haven't tried to in a few weeks but I think I could comfortably do it by feel since I can't see anything past my belly either.

I normally wax my bikini line, not the whole thing though.

Relying a bit of left over flexibility from when I was at circus school to get around my stomach in interesting ways, I can still get my leg up on the wall, so that works... eventually I know I am going to pay someone to do it though.

I use an electric razor and have everything trimmed very short, but not bald. I use to shave when I was younger but I got way too many in-grown hairs & bumps. Wasn't worth it for me.
I can't see what I am doing but afterwards I check with a mirror to make sure I haven't missed anywhere lol

Im very frustrated by this. Who would you pay? I only shave Im not doing wax at this point. I feel like im a cave woman and it is not getting me in the mood. Im self conscious.

Yep, I have a Diploma in Circus Studies (aerial acrobatics).

Towards the end I fell from a flying trapeze and severely injured my back though, hence the whole librarian career.

I keep it short with an electric razor. I just use a mirror when I trim to make sure I get all the spots

The last time I did it I had to pull up on my belly. My baby boy always lays so low, so I don't think that will work. I normally either completely shave, or use an electric razor and trim it way down. So, my hubby or my best friend will do it for me as I'm not one to be able to do anything blind. You guys that can are so talented!!

Kira... So you already know that I think you are hilarious... But hearing you say you went to circus school and that you got a diploma really impresses me...but for some reason doesn't surprise me!!! Lol I love it! I hope your back injury doesn't continue to give you trouble.

I was just thinking about this as the last time I tried to shave it was pretty difficult to peer around my belly. I usually leave a little landing strip and trying to do that blindly did not work so well. I made it too short and now I look like I have a hitler mustache...

My last 2 pregnancies I swore I would keep myself landscaped. Never happened. Before this one, I was waxing religiously. I swore I would keep it up. Needless to say, I am all caveman once again. All vanity has vanished. Pregnancy has a way of doing that to me.

Agreed! I really hope Kira starts a mommy blog! I would definitely follow that one. Of course I would need to change my Depends every time I read it!

i haven't been able to see down there for a while now, so i've been shaving blindly. i know i'm missing some patches, but it's so hard to do--i can barely even reach down there properly now because of my belly!

Guess I need to out myself then, I do have a blog. It was made at the request of some ladies on another forum I go on a year back. Certainly not a "Mummy blog" but more just my inane ramblings all gathered into one place with some pictures.

Whew, I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I keep thinking surely it's too soon for this, lol. With my last pregnancy I could shave fairly easily the whole time, this time I'm struggling to see anything so I'm lifting my belly & going at it blindly!

I have to say, you ladies going at it blindly with a razor are freaking me out. I can't shave my legs without nicking them, and I am looking then.
