If you've had heartburn... what have you been taking for it? Last pregnancy I got through it with Tums, which is what I've been doing this time, but I'm considering trying something else so I don't get woken up at night with it!

I'm trying to control it with Tums, milk & ice cream. My doctor suggested Gaviscon. He said that, from his experience, it works the best for pregnant women.

Tums for now but I plan on asking for something better at my next appt. With my last pregnancy I was given a Rx for heartburn meds..I always get it really bad.

I haven't tried anything yet, I'm thinking about trying tums. If that doesn't cut it, I used to take prevacid. It worked well.

I've been trying to control it with ginger tea. Sparkling water also helps. If it's really bad, then I resort to Gaviscon, although in all honesty I could probably use something stronger.
