I've been waiting to play the videogame Bioshock Infinite for a long time now. My DH is the big one into video games and such, heck he even owns his own store to sell them. Well since I'm not a huge gamer he was excited that I wanted to play one finally and one with a story at that We started playing it this afternoon each taking turns since it was myself, DH, and BIL. I started and immediately got motion sickness from it. After about 20 mins of watching the guys play it I had to excuse myself to the bathroom and threw up everything I had eaten. So I got about 30 mins total of seeing the game before I was done for

I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY!

DH bought Bioshock, I can't play it for longer than a few minutes without feeling queasy.

Oh man I am sorry!!! I am not a gamer, in fact...other than an occasional Wii game, I haven't touched a video game in over 10 years, lol! My sister is DH are big gamers though, and my sister gets motion sick from first person games!

Oh nooooo... that game looked awesome I was wanting to try it. I'll wait on that. I'm a recreational gamer, I started up an old favorite Mass Effect and the FPS motion made me a little shaky at first and now that you mention it Skyrim was making me feel funny a while back when I was playing it but I didn't associate it with morning sickness.

That is such a let down Bummer!!! I'd be so upset. I get queasy playing video games on the subway sometimes, if I'm trying to super concentrate, but I can read just fine. Weird how things work.

I am not a gamer at all and neither is DH so this made me chuckle a little bit... not in a mean way just the idea that a game made someone sick... I hope that you eventually get to play and enjoy your game.

Major bummer I have the same problem with some games (COD, Fallout). I have to close my eyes when I'm roadie running in Gears. Bleh. Maybe it will go away for you when baby is born?

I hope so! I really want to play it. I may tempt fate and try one more time, but I'm scared of the outcome.
