Got the fun news today. Plus I had to go back for another lab draw because the lady missed the one test (for anemia). We're all just human so I wasn't really bothered by the missed test. I am bummed out about the gestational diabetes. I didn't have it with either of my girls so I just never even thought I may fail the test this time. My office does a two hour test right off the bat so there's no retesting. Some place called Sweet Success is going to get in touch with me. My regular OB appt is tomorrow so we'll see what the doctor says about it. I'm 25/26 weeks along now.

This is my 3rd pregnancy with GD. Its a pain but manageable. I have a strong family history of women getting GD coupled with several people on my mom's side that have type 2, plus my mom had GD with me and my sister. The odds were stacked against me, lol. I didn't have it with my 1st son but got it with my twin pregnancy and the one after. The minute I deliver my blood sugar drops and I'm back to my old self. I'm really looking forward to that!! Let me know if you have any questions.

Sorry. I just found out that I failed the one-hour. Gotta go back and do the three hour on Monday. Ugh.
