All is good with Charlie and me before you all start to panic. I went in because I have not felt him move ONCE in 10 hours.... he must have changed position and is kicking my back and where his feet are my placenta is. I was on the monitor for a hour and he was moving around all over so it was just one of those things. Yesterday I used the doppler and all was well.. they told me that any reduction in fetal movement should be reported to the triage/maternity unit after the first 24 hour period of reduced movement. They want me to have a scan in 2 weeks but I have a scan booked for 3 weeks anyway so I will have to discuss with midwife.

Thank goodness everything is alright. Definitely better safe than sorry, like green said. I'm glad they took it seriously.

Better safe than sorry, glad all is well! With both my girls I took a trip to L&D, one for lack of movement & the second for what we found out was termed "uterine irritation". Always better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah they said they always take reduced movement seriously. She taught me how to do a proper kick stress test at home.

Take a time when the baby is active like right now hes moving about and kicking.. so then lie down if you can and count the kicks.. if it takes over 2 hours to get to 10 kicks and the next 6 hours and also reduced then call them and get on the monitor.
They dont believe in the kick count 10 in a hour as always babies can be a different position for a while.

Oh and hes moved position as he is now back to normal, midiwfe has said keep to the agreed growth scans as it seems he was in a bad position for feeling movement. I 100% agree with her. Its nice to see him but he really doesnt like to be scanned. lol x
