i know this can be a touchy topic but i dont think anyone should be judged .. Also would you do it before they leave the hospital?

As for me..... Yes will be doing it and we will do it before he leaves the hosiptal .. We did our other two boys as well and had no issues at all.

I could really just leave him as he is but DH really wants to circumcise, so we will since he's the one who understands boy parts more. I guess we'll do it in the hospital? Not really sure how that all works.

I'm not 100% decided but I don't think we will be doing it. I have already discussed it with our pediatrician who is fine with our decision. I just don't see it as a necessary procedure and it is not without risk. Dh said the choice is up to me.

I'm pretty sure we won't be. Dh isn't and I'm leaving it mostly up to him.

I left the decision up to my husband since he has one and I don't. We will be and it will be done before we leave the hospital.

I've let my husband decide on that one and he does not want to. It's not a common practice in his country so circumcision is a very strange and foreign concept to him.

Our hospital doesn't do it while you're there, you have to go to your peds office, but we are doing it.

If we were having a boy then no.
Hospitals do not do them here and most pediatricians will not do them. It's very uncommon.

If we have a boy - DH wants to have it done, but I don't want to have it done. They do not do it locally here, so that works in my favor of not getting it done.

We are not going to circumcise despite the fact that my husband is and his family is Jewish. His parents won't be happy with it, but we don't intend to raise our child Jewish or any other religion. The research we did made us both feel that not circumcising was the best choice for us.

Yes ..we will be having it done before we leave the hospital. We don't know anyone that is not circumcised and it's just an strange thing for us.. I feel awful about causing pain to my new baby but husband says it is a must...and the earlier the less pain.

circumcision isnt as common here in Canada only 32% of baby boys have it done these days. I wouldnt if we had a boy but I think we are done at 2 girls so we dont have to worry about that.

My DH is and we assumed if we had a boy we would. Then we had Bennett and went to our consultation with the Doc who would do the surgery, and Ty decided we would not be by the end of the appt, lol. He's perfectly fine with the fact that he and Ben are different, and I honestly as a female don't really care if someone is or isn't. It's not as common anymore in Canada, so he'll be part of the majority uncirc'ed. This baby if a boy will (I'm assuming, though I've not asked Ty) will also be left as is.
