He'll be in my room until he's big/strong enough to sit up by himself or pull himself up, and then it'll be a hazard to keep him in the bassinet, so we'll move him to the crib.
Our bedrooms are upstairs, so naps will most likely be in a bassinet downstairs. The bassinet will either be in my home office or right smack in the middle of the living room. My younger child's bassinet was in the living room, and now she can nap through any noise at all. I think it helps to get them used to noises so you don't have to tiptoe around when they're napping.
We will set up a bassinet for the bedroom.
I plan on BF-ing again and there is no way I'm going to keep getting up and going down the hall for the first while. That baby is being nursed while I'm in my bed. LOL
That being said, we still plan on setting up a nursery for the baby's items. I don't want my room cluttered with baby stuff. I also only plan on having baby in my room until they outgrow sleeping in the bassinet and needing to nurse at night. We'll see what happens!
