Our hospital is 4 miles away so depending on the time of day and all that it can take appx 10 mins in little to no traffic to about 30 mins during rush hour only because most of the roads are 30 mph and it is straight through town. I told DH that he isn't allowed to take the "faster" road when I'm in labor because I've worked out a much quicker way that doesn't stress me out. DH was born at the hospital I'm delivering at which is also where DD was born. The only thing is that the birth center use to be in a different building then it is now.

About 45 min. But, if we have to drop off the kids we have to go 30 min to drop them off, then another 35-40 min to the hospital. Better than last time. It was an hour drive. We ended up going into labor at night, but there was construction and it took us almost 2 hours to get there.

3 miles. It could take less than 10 minutes without traffic or 45 minutes with traffic since we live downtown and the hospital is also downtown.

An hour. Where we will be driving traffic isn't an issue. It is the same hospital our girls were born at and their father was born at which is neat.

Our house is a ~10min drive away, but I work on campus right next to the hospital (I can see it out my window).

Depends on the traffic. 10 minutes if it's in the middle of the night, could be up to 30min if in the middle of rush hour. I'm sure my midwife will take that into consideration when deciding what time we will leave to go to the hospital. The worst would be leaving my house anytime between 7-9am during a workday because my hospital is right downtown.

looks like i may be the closest - our hospital is exactly 1 mile from our house!!! a couple back roads and we're there in 2 minutes of driving. DH always joked when i was pregnant with DS (born in feb) that he could pull me in a sled to the hospital if need be!

We are only about 10 minutes from the hospital... Actually, 10 minutes from any hospital really, there's one north, south, east and west of us... We're going to the hospital west of us.
