do you know what position your baby is in?

mine has been head down for weeks. then yesterday he flipped!!! i could tell based on his hiccups! plus he was kicking my cervix last night, which hurts way worse than cervix punches! i have my 36 week appt today. my OB doesn't care about position until 36 weeks, so he hasn't checked until this point. he'll confirm by feel whether baby boy is indeed breech. hopefully he turns, but it does concern me this late!

as of 2 weeks ago, I know baby was breech and I'm pretty sure he still is. I can feel his big round head in my top left side all the time.

Mine's head down. He's been that way for a while, according to U/S and doc squeezing my belly.

Baby is still head down. Still kicking me in the ribs and hiccupping into my left hip.

Mine is currently head down (I use the hiccup location to tell also ). I flipped when I was 36 weeks and my mom had to have a C section because of it, but I was also the first child so I think things were pretty tight in there.

Is it possible he's transverse? I guess you'll know a lot more after your appointment today. Keep us posted!

I'm worried my baby is breech based on where i feel hiccups but I really don't know for sure. My doc is going to check at 36 weeks but u/s to know for sure. I may ask him at my 34 week appointment tomorrow to feel around on my belly and see if he can tell bc I really want to know!

I don't know.. Hiccups move around.. Also even if they are head down you can feel them at the top of your uterus at times because they shake the babies entire body. A good way to tell position is location of the HB if you have a Doppler ..
.:fearless:. and Shea131 like this.

My baby boy has been head down since about 28 weeks. I never really thought of the fact that he could flip back the other way - but hopefully he doesn't.

I can tell that he's still that way based off the hiccups - they're SO low and also I can distinctly feel his foot digging it's way into my ribs sometimes. Even though it's quite painful it reassures me that he's still in perfect position

My baby is transverse right now at 35w3d but I'm having a csection so I guess it really doesn't matter.
