I know there's a bunch of us on here that have gone through some pretty *big* things during our pregnancies - we've had marathons run, weddings, cross-country moves (/cross ocean moves!), the passing of a loved one...

From the moving part of it, who else is planning on moving soon? Either during the end of the pregnancy or not long after baby is born?
OR is anyone planning a wedding for not long after baby is born? DD and I are in a wedding but it isn't until next May, so I have some time to lose my baby weight

We are going for our finalized thing for the mortgage tomorrow, and once that goes through we can "seriously" look at houses - at least the real estate agents and sellers will take us more seriously! It's been so stressful to try to find the right house for our growing family, but we CANNOT stay here much longer - it's driving us both totally crazy!

Who else is sailing in this big-change boat with me!?

I don't think I had anything "big" this go round. I did move, earlier in pregnancy (Feb). I went TO a wedding in May, lol. My last pregnancy though, my DH and I got married
Good luck on the house stuff!

i think the curveball of having twins instead of the one we hoped for and becoming a SAHM, giving up my professional identity is going to be rough.

DH's Nonna's death earlier this year was a big hit, more for DH than for me, obviously. He was VERY close to his Nonna and we used to visit her every week so he could help her with things around the house, mow her lawn and things like that.

We have had time to adapt, but it is going to be very hard for him not having our daughter meet her, he was really looking forward to that.

We are still in the middle of a remodel. The kids are still bunking up together since one 1 kid bedroom is done and that makes for a rough night. My DD, 2 yr old, keeps waking up and coming in our room which I have no moved out of and am sleeping on the couch because of my heartburn. There is furniture everywhere. We have finally starting getting some baby stuff, yes I only have 3 weeks 5 days left, and it is now sitting everywhere..

I moved into a new place just three weeks ago. Not much is straightened away because SO and I decided we wanted to paint the place over. So with the plastering, painting and unpacking it's been one busy month. Not to mention getting DD's room ready for her arrival in 5 short weeks.

Our final walk through is today and we're closing on our new house tomorrow! After a bunch of uncertainty with this process (the appraisal was hung up for 3 weeks in the middle!), it still doesn't feel quite real and we won't believe it until our keys are in hand tomorrow. Plus they were supposed to send me the money amount I need to transfer today last night and I still haven't gotten it...

But assuming all goes well (which it better!) we plan to move small stuff as much as we can over the next couple weeks, while doing a little bit of work on the house, like painting (well, DH, his uncle and cousins), then our big move should be the last weekend of June. With baby coming July 17 and our current lease up on July 31, we HAVE to be moved before he comes.

Luckily, this move is only about 20 mins away, so we can do it small like that. Last summer we moved from MD to FL, almost 1000 miles, and DH was away all summer, so I did most of the packing and move coordination on my own (while working full time with a long commute and taking care of a 2 year old!). Since we knew we were moving again, a good portion of our stuff is still packed up in closets and the garage.

We've had 3 deaths in our families families since April, so a lot of sad change. Everyone is really looking forward to this baby

I've only had two big changes during this pregnanct.

1. The day I hit 32 weeks was my last day of work at the job that I've had for 3 years
It was actually really lucky that I stopped working because a few days later I went to L&D for consistent contractions and they put me on bed rest.

2. As soon as my baby boy is in my arms we are moving from Boulder to Fort Collins (about an hour away) to live at my moms house. Our lease is up August 9th, so we would have had to move anyway

We're in the middle of renovation and it is the worst thing ever. I hate it. We aren't even close to being done. Ugh.

No real major xhanges here. I quit my job last July, traveled Europe for a few months woth my daughter, and then moved to LA to be with dh in October. We got pregnant shortly afterwards so we havr been adjusting to this new city a bit. Technically, my grandpa/step grandpa passed away last eeek, but we weren't very close so it didn't affect me too much. We will also probably be moving again in October when our lease runs out but I don't consider moving a big deal at all...

Last pregnancy, we had tons of big changes. I graduated from college. Dh got winged. I quit my job to move across the country for dh. We got married. We moved again about 6 hours away. There were afew other tthings too. So this time, I feel like I can handle anything. Lok

My husband is a groomsman in his friend's wedding in August, 3 1/2 weeks after my due date! It's 3 hours away and our plan is for all of us to drive down. We are staying in a hotel for 3 nights. I won't know anyone else at the wedding and will be in charge of the new baby and our 4 1/2 year old son. I'm suuuuper nervous. Not to mention I don't know what I will wear, haha.

We just moved when I was 28/29 weeks. We are settled in but now starting to get the baby stuff ready. DH is gone a lot this month, so that's a big adjustment right now so late in he game.

Well, I'm not sure if this is a "big change" or not, but baby is due on July 3rd and I am turning the "big 30" on the 13th.

No big birthday bash, though... I think it's going to be pretty quiet around here (well, other than baby wailing away).

Nothing too big

We moved in March and we're still unpacking a few things but it's not too stressful. DH's daughter is also staying with us for the summer which has been an adjustment since she arrived a few days before Marin so that has been interesting.

I have had some drama come to think of it. My dd and I were sick with serious pneumonia and influenza B for several weeks. My dh graduated from school. We are forced to stay here with my parents becasue they are paying my dh as an intern till NOv. We planned to move in July but that will not happen. We are trrying to cram into this house space and its getting rough. My husband takes the Bar exam 2 weeks probably from due date. Hes not sure he can leave class if I go into labor in the weeks leading up to that. Im a mess and plan to get some ppd treatment just incase because this has been extra hormonal.

We've been staying with my. parents, too, and I just graduated in December (walked in May), but with the kids I won't be getting a teaching job til probably sept. 2014 when they're both older and dd will be in pre-k....but we can't stand to try to continue to squeeze in here so we're working on the mortgage thing.

Hopefully you guys can have your own space soon, too!
