I wish I could have taken photos, the hospital auxiliary group KNITTED breasts for these classes that you put on like a vest. We were all walking around wearing knitted boobs.

Also, I love the idea that somewhere there was a group of little old ladies knitting 20 sets of breasts.

There was also a knitted uterus and a knitted placenta. Everything was knitted.

It was actually quite fun, only downside was that one of the partners was 'that person' who is always at something like this who had to ask questions on things we already covered because he was fiddling with his phone and not paying attention, and vocalising every thought that came into his head, even if that thought was "NAH" (or, the ever-mature "WOAH!" when we went around the room and introduced ourselves and our partners and one woman stood up and said "My name is such-and-such and this is my partner so-and-so" and indicated to the woman sitting next to her). But other than him it was a pretty good day.

But I got to wear knitted boobs, and this is really the most important thing.

We finished our classes last week. It went really well, except there was a couple there who was kind of antisocial, and all of the woman's questions were related to all the different ways a child can die of SIDS.

I know that SIDS is a very real danger and that certain precautions should be undertaken, but the truth is that no one really knows what exactly causes if and if you worry about it day and night, you are not going to sleep and you will drive yourself crazy. I almost felt bad for her - I honestly think she needs therapy to deal with her anxieties, cause she looked like she was on the verge of a panic attack and her child is not even born yet.
