Does anyone else in here knit or crochet? Or do you sew? Are you making anything for this baby?

I do all of the above, though I am much better at crocheting than knitting. I crocheted baby blankets for both my boys, but decided I wanted to do something different this time, so I'm knitting baby girl a blanket. Well, I didn't start it until a few weeks ago, and at the rate I'm working (1-2 rows every few days, as I have time) I should be finished by the time she is ready for Kindergarten! I really need to make time if I have any hope of her getting to use it, even if not for after birth but the coming fall/winter.

I've made a bunch of blankets sewn and crocheted. I don't have the technical skills to do anything more than simple designs.

I knit, but I don't do it very often because it's just too hot here for knitted stuff.

When we were at my in-laws a couple of weeks ago, MIL was showing us a bunch of stuff she had knitted for DH before he was born. DH asked if I could do anything like that and for some reason I told him I used to knit when I was younger. He asked if I would knit Baby something.

The problem is, I only knitted scarves and dishcloths. So baby is getting a knitted blanket...that is really just a giant dish cloth!!

Last fall I tried to teach myself how to crochet and took a short class at the craft store. But all I ended up making was a teeny hat that fit DD's tiniest baby doll. I don't have the patience or attention span to do much more.

I can do some basic sewing but haven't made anything for baby. My sister is an amazing crocheter and has made all my kids tons of stuff but this baby is getting a blanket, couple of hats, some head bands, a couple pairs of booties, a doll and a sweater.

I was making patchwork curtains until carpal tunnel kicked in. I was about half way through hand-sewing all the patches.

I'll finish them eventually.

I have a sewing machine and have made exactly 1 patchwork quilt ever. I was/am very proud of it (although it is far, far from perfect), and I had intentions to make patchwork blankets for both DD and this baby....but of course, life happens and it hasn't happened yet!

I don't even have my bag packed, so I definitely don't have my blankets made! And Isabelle is 2 now!
