A couple of my kids have eczema so I have learned from early on that bathing EVRY night is not something that ALL of my babies can do.
I do tend to cluster bath my children ( which means really to give each one a bath in single file line right after each other) and really try to avoid creams and soaps with perfumes. I like to use EVOO every once in a while when needed.
I have noticed though, that I have been giving D baths about every 2 days or 3. I do wash her face and hands every day of course and sometimes wash her hair everyday depending on whether or not she spit up. I just dont give the full " in entire bath " bath every day.
How often do you bath your baby and how often do you apply cream or lotion?
Our big kids we bath/shower every day, but Lachlan gets a tub bath every few days, and a washcloth bath every day with numerous head/neck wipe downs daily. The boy has some ROLLS, so if we don't mop them out a few times a day he starts to smell cheesie.
Bath time is part of Marcos' bedtime routine so I do it every night. He gets very cranky in the evenings around 8pm so this is something that he enjoys and it really relaxes him. We also have eczema in our family so to keep his skin from drying out, I alternate between bathing him just in water and bathing him with soap. After his bath, I put some organic camomile-scented lotion on his belly, arms, and legs. His skin hasn't had any problems so far.

LMAO!!!!! Layla has serious neck cheese, its gross. She is a spitter upper and it never fails to get all up in there. She doesn't have rolls per say, just folds and a short neck so getting in there is awkward. They get irritated if we miss a spot. Kaiden doesn't get cheesey as fast but he sweats when he cries and his hair gets smelly. they should get baths more often but right now it's 2x a week with daily face/neck/hand wipe downs. the older they get the quicker im finding they smell bad.
Ryan gets a bath every 2-3 days, usually 3. But if he has a lot of spit up or an explosion in his diaper I give him a bath regardless of when his last one was. I do wipe his neck and face every day with a little cloth. I lotion his arms and legs after every other bath and I put coconut oil on his face and head instead of lotion.
