I created a bedtime routine for Marcos. At 8:30 every night we give him his bath, put him in his pyjamas, feed him, rock him, and usually he's in his crib by 9:30. He wakes up about 2-3x a night still but all he needs is a feeding and we put him back in his crib.
He wakes up around 7:30-8am and I've noticed that lately he takes 3 naps per day. One at around 11am, the other around 2pm, and the last one around 6pm. We've have problems with him sleeping all the way up to his bathtime and it's been problematic because then he's not tired enough to go to sleep in his crib for the night. So now if he's sleeping in the evening, I wake him up at 8pm and try to keep him awake (sounds kind of mean but it`s saved us a lot of headaches).
He's usually up 1x a night around 4am, but he's done a couple nights where he's slept all night and the past couple he's been up 2x. The most routine thing about his day is that about an hour after he wakes up he will take a long nap, usually. I was hoping to have more of a schedule/routine established before going back to work, but I don't have much time left.
Adelyn is on a really great schedule now. She's usually up to face the day anywhere between 6-8am. I am up with her for most of the day and she naps roughly three hours here and there and playing on her mat. Whenever she wakes up around 7-9pm is when we feed her then bath her since she loves the bath. After that we let her play a little bit and put her to bed. During the nights she can sleep anywhere from 5-8 hours! We only get up with her once or twice. Then by the morning we start the whole routine again.
IDK... what would you consider a schedule? The twins go to bed around the same time, we have the same bedtime routine somewhat, wake up the same time... but the meat of the day is a jumble. I have no clue how/when I will get them on a schedule during the day, right now I just go by their cues which I am slowly learning.
Only our mornings and nights are scheduled, the middle of the day is based on what Ryan wants to do, or if we have errands to run or not. Ryan wakes up around 8am every morning, we hang out for a while in the living room and we eat breakfast together - he's on the boppy while I eat oatmeal And then we start our bedtime routine at 8 every night where I nurse him to sleep. He wakes up usually once a night around 4 am but the past few days he's been restless at night and waking up 2 or 3 times. Oh well
