So what does your baby's diet/feeding schedule look like so far? I've been playing it by ear, mostly because in Cuba my options were limited, but here's a sample of what I'm giving Marcos today:
8am - 3tbsp oat cereal with 1tbsp mashed bananas (I'm starting to introduce small "chunks" in his food)
12pm - 2tbsp of apple puree
5pm - 4-5tbsp of pureed green beans, squash, and chicken
This is supplemented by breast milk on demand. I am making all my food homemade except for the oat cereal. I eventually plan on making the oat cereal from scratch too but since I've been out of the country for a month and came back to an empty pantry and fridge, I need a bit of time to replenish his food supply.
I made a pear puree this morning and saved the water I used to boil the pears in so that I could give a bit of it to Marcos as a juice". I've heard it's better to give it to him in a sippy cup vs. a bottle, so I am going to try that as a little afternoon "treat". I might try giving him a little bit of water first, even though he hates it and has yet to actually drink it.
Also, this is the first day that I'm adding a "lunch" for him. I came to the conclusion that he needed it yesterday when around mid-day, Marcos was watching DH eating a yogurt and kept on whining and reaching out like he wanted some food too. I will try it and see how it goes - maybe he will eat a bit less at dinnertime as a result.
What have you ladies been doing?

Nurse on demand and he gets a bit of food with us at dinner maybe 3-4x a week. Last night DH spoon fed him some of DDs applesauce and he had a few small bites of chicken and played with a spaghetti noodle. He kept trying to chew the applesauce. Wasn't used to non-whole foods

8am: Breakfast, alternates between this multigrain cereal she loves and stewed fruit. I will try her with eggs soon so if that's all fine (I had an issue with eggs as a baby, so this will be interesting) we can add scrambled eggs into the rotation
12pm: Lunch, which is anything and everything, if we try a new food it will be at lunch
6pm: Dinner, which is usually what we are having
I make all the food myself because baby food is expensive here, except for the cereal, but that's not too pricey. I don't go all out puree because I am lazy and that would involve washing a food processor, I just lightly mash with a fork, so her food is chunky.
We started meals at lunch time, no idea why, it just seemed like the easiest time for us, then dinner followed, and then she boycotted morning bottles, so we started breakfast.
Main food is still the bottle but she only drinks 4 oz now at a time. SHe has breakfast a couple of hours after her bottle and it usually oatmeal or pancakes something like that or fruit that I use from my smoothie.
Dinner is a mix. She does like chicken and I didnt even puree that either. I just took some dark meat and broke off little pieces and fed her and again she just gums everything.
