I have been using a very light weight simple umbrella stroller to push D around in the house when Im cleaning and things because of my back problems and carrying her. But that thing is pretty useful even when doing small errands outside and dont need a cart or there are no carts and when theres no need for my big one.

Love it.

I need to buy one soon to make it easier on me when I'm using public transportation. Getting on the bus is not so bad because it kneels down, but taking the subway is tricky because some stations only have escalators and I'm always afraid I'll lose my grip on the stroller and it'll go plunging down! The streetcar is also complicated because I have to climb up 3-4 steps to get on and the doors are quite narrow. I usually put Marcos in a carrier when I use it but he's getting heavy!

My stroller does amazingly well on public transport, plus I love that it has a huge basket underneath, I can fit about 6 bags of groceries under there. We're thinking of getting Audrey a smart trike for her birthday and we can use that to get around locally.

Marcos got a smart trike for Christmas and I happened to assemble it yesterday. Ours says it's from 10 months and up so we might try it out in the Spring (the weather is still pretty awful here right now - this is one loooooong Winter)

I was thinking of getting one for Christmas, as that's our summer, but the 6m+ ones are over $200, whereas 10m+ is almost half the price, so we decided to wait.

She might even be able to ride the 10-month one right now. I put Marcos in his for the first time yesterday and he seemed totally fine in it.
