So I'm proud to say that Marcos is finally learning how to interact with our cat. After months of showing how him how to properly pet him, he finally "gets it". Instead of grabbing a huge tuft of fur like he used to (my poor cat has the patience of a saint!), he now gently pats him with an open hand and a proud look on his face. It's nice to see them getting along!
How are your LOs interacting with your pets, now that they're crawling all over the house?
aww that's great! We have 2 cats and 1 dog, they're all great with both kids, and the kids are good with them, but still a bit rough. Zachary has started making his own type of screechy meow noise for the cats.
Our cat has been fantastic, Audrey interacts really well with her too.
Also, my parent's dog has been getting along really well with Audrey, she's a papillon x so only small, and she was rescued from a circus prior to my parents adopting her, so despite the poor start, it did mean that she is very used to children. Those two are best buddies.
