I have no idea what is with me. Perhaps it is because it is after midnight and I am tired. Maybe it is just because the only treat bags I could find for Aiden's birthday party were Tinkerbell (not that it matters, since his guests are all girls). BUT...I was inspired by this tonight!
The new Tinkerbell DVD hits stores on October 28th. This is a really RANDOM challenge. Take whatever you can from this image and use it to inspire you to scrap. Whether it be a Tinkerbell embellishment, a green layout, something with a little shimmer and shine...whatever!
This was super hard! The worst part is, I collect Tinkerbell stuff, since my maiden name has earned me (and all other family members!) the nickname "Tink". I just didn't have any Tinkerbell goodies So, I took inspiration from the colors (green & purple), and added the gold sequins for pixie dust.
Here's mine. I used the green, sparkles and decided to scrap about my scrapping area. I need to add some journaling, but am exhausted right now so that'll be added later. The glitter text reads: Scrap, dream, create.
Wow Becky! I am jealous of your scrap space. All I have are 2 rubbermaid drawers full of my stuff since we live in an apartment. Great colours as well. You really captured Tink in this page!![/b]
Thank you! I grabbed a corner and part of the wall behind the staircase in the basement storage area and converted it into what I need. What you can't see in the pics is the unfinished walls, open ceiling, concrete floors and I'm surrounded by shelves. It works great though, I just added some throw rugs on the floors, added some plugins & lighting, used alot of old furniture that was sitting around and organized the best I could. We're hoping to buy another place in the next few years, and I really really want a craft room but since we're TTC that most likely won't happen as the little ones will need rooms. LOL! For now, I make do with my corner.
