I have been doing some research on albums and have come across two I'm not too sure of. They are snap bound and strapbound. Does anyone have pictures of what the closures on the inside look like? I assume that strapbound means you use a ribbon or strap to keep the pages in. I am thinking I want to get a D-ring for my next album, but wondering if you ladies can provide some input and maybe pics of the others. Thanks!!

I wish I could help you Amanda but sadly I know nothing about albums. I usually just buy what is on sale and never look at what it is called.

I think a couple of the ones I have are a straphinge but can't be positive. I actually found some at Michaels that have the plastic sleeves that you slip your page in to. You can add more to the album as well.

Well, I guess I'll see how I like the snapbound album. I just ordered one last night as well as a D-ring. Got them from Joann Fabris with free shipping!

I use post-bound albums but I'm thinking of changing to d-ring ones as post bound are more fiddly when it comes to adding new pages and they also squash your pages. I don't have much choice here and I need to order the d-ring ones which is really expensive. I've not used straphinged or snaploaded ones before.

I have the strap kind from Creative Memories, but I can't keep spending the $$ for 2 albums every year, so unless I can get a good deal on them from Ebay I may be switching to the sleeve kind as I feel it's a waste of money to mount a LO on a page to and cover it up.

Thank you for pointing me in Michael's direction Jen for the sleeve ones, I have 2 15% off coupons for there lol
