Sorry I haven't been on much, just not a lot of scrapping going on here, lol. Jake's been having a basketball tournament these last 2 weekends (got the championship game today @ 4:45, we're 4-0 so far!)
But just wanted to share the kids teacher's gifts I made....
Just got them finished a few minutes ago- Nothing astounding here, but I'm certain they're good enough for gifts & I'm pretty happy w/how they turned out.
For the jars I used these little jars of ketchup & mustard I found at the hot deli @ Walmart- .60 each. Just poured the ketchup & must. into our big bottles, rinsed & cleaned them out. I love these things, they are the cutest little jars!
I used a round punch for the colored cardstock circles on top of the jars.
The snowflake on each are just trinkets I had from hairbow making, lol. Then I used hemp cord to tie a little jingle bell around each.
I almost got Christmas baskets but figured they could use them year-round w/reg. baskets. Wove a ribbon & tied a bow.
The paper shreds I got at Walmart for .97 per bag. I saw them at Michael's, it was $2.99 per bag- exact same thing, same company, everything!
This is for the boys group leader @ church. I found the glass jar @ Walmart, I think it's so pretty!
I need to add more M&M's...
little poem I found- i love it :-)
Now I need to go start the chili- yummm! We will miss most of the Steelers game because of Jake's game (Dh is sucking it up, lol) but we should be home 6-ish to catch the last hr. or so.
I love the teacher's gifts! I finished ours today as well. My oldest is taking little cardstock pouches that hold a packet of cocoa mix for everyone in his class (and the teachers). And my youngest is making crayon discs for all the kids, but I still have to figure out something for his 2 teachers!
Those are SO awesome! I really love what you did! I am going to copy and save your picture of the MM jar for the church teachers if you don't mind. It would be really awesome as a gift for our pastors next Christmas!
