Hi everyone! I'm such a slacker, I know...sorry I've been MIA. I do check in from time to time, but then I feel guilty for not scrapbooking. How is everyone doing? I'm seeing lots of great work from y'all too.

I finally decided to make Cayden's baby book. I was thinking of keeping his baby book in the colors of his nursery, which is gender neutral, and will make it more cohesive. I'm talking family tree, naming him, ultrasounds, belly pictures, nursery, his doctor, my doctor, things like that. Here is his first page.

I figure once he comes home and I start scrapbooking those things, I'll make the pages in whatever colors strike me and whatever I want to use. What do you think? Does that sound stupid to do that?

Tami

I love the page Tami! What a great idea to do a family tree. I wish I had thought of that for my kids scrapbooks. I love the colours you picked.

As for plan with the album I think it sounds like a good one. None of my albums use all of the same colours. Mine is a mix of just about everything.

Thanks! I am so wishy washy sometimes...lol. Probably why I don't scrap as much as I should. I am working on the layout now for his name selection and then I want to work on how we told people and us finding out. We'll see how far I get though.

Tami
I just love your page! I think it is a great idea to do a scrapbook as a baby book. That is what I am doing this time around too.

Thanks! Jen, you posting your pages in our DDC is what gave me the inspiration to go ahead and do it as a scrapbook type thing rather than fill in the blanks in a book that won't have everything I want or need.

Thanks! It's good to see you too. How are you doing? Not too much longer before your little one arrives huh? Are y'all ready to go?

I love the page! And I think you have a great idea, in fact I have the same one! I think I am going to take apart DS album and make it what I want it! That's on the bottom of my list though. I will be doing one for the little one I am carrying from the beginning though! Well, as much as I can.
