So... I played with my Cricut tonight and did a simple page! FYI - It's the personal cutter so it's only the 6x12 paper. I saw the infomercial about the Expression and got very jealous!!!! Even told hubby that he should've gone that route!
Anyhow...the page is drying as I type. I will post a pic tomorrow since my camera batteries are currently charging. Plus, it needs to be downloaded big time! Christmas pics and video galore. And then tomorrow is my youngest daughter's first dance show! I'll have lots of pics to play with.
Anyhow...I have a question.
Since I only have the George cartridge that my Cricut came with it...I'm pretty limited. I cut out the words Kaylee, July 4, 2006 and some stars. I set it for 2 inches on Kaylee and then 1 for the others. I also cut out a 4inch tag, the stars were 1 inch and 3 inch.
What kind of glue would you recomend for tacking down such tiny things? All I had on hand was a photo safe glue stick and it was quite tricky.
I had a glue pen in my scrapbook case but it was so old it was dry! This was the first page I've done since May of 2006!!!! I forgot that I had started an album for my youngest daughter! Too bad my oldest daughter still doesn't have an album! At least she has a page now.
I have a hard time with the letters too. Someone on here in the past recommended using on of the Xyron sticker machines. I have one I bought a couple of years ago that I am going to try on my letters. I will let you know how it turns out.
