So...does anyone have this? Has anyone tried this?

I'm intrigued by it since it claims to give access to the entire cartridge library??!!??!!!

Input?

i just got it for Christmas and first thing you need to know is while it does give access to all the cartridge you can only cut with the cartridges you own, so far it is working ok for me

So if you only own one or two cartridges....it is worth it?

If Plantin is one of your carts, you can download the trial from cricut.com and use it w/o having to buy anything just yet.

Thanks for the info!

I think I'll wait a bit before looking into it. I don't own Plantin. I'm still getting used to my Cricut so It's probably best for me to stick with the individual carts.

I am a little confused about this program myself. Can you design your own cuts with it, as well as the cartridges? What all is the program capable of? It seems like it is something I would use, but I'm not quite sure yet.

you can design your own cuts, you just use the cartridge images to do it with and one thing i found online do not use the rectangle in the george and basic shapes for some reason it has a bug on it you will get a huge red X, so just overlap two squares. I used it this weekend for the one page i got to do for the crop, i made the scalloped edge rectangle and i joined my letters together so that they would cut as one piece. The main reason i wanted the software was so i could attach letters together and not have to glue them on individually, to me everything else i can do is just a bonus. and you can use every cartridge they have to design it's just if you want to cut it you have to own it. It is a great program to se what cartridges you want to buy, since you can play with them and see what it can do before you buy it

Can someone give examples, pictures or descriptions, of projects they've used the program for?

Here is a few page I found that i used the CDS on.

the letters in 3 months are hooked together

That is what I used it for the most, hooking letters together. Course I would love to use it more.
