I held out all week and today decided to hit Michaels.
I told myself that if they had the Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge, I'd splurge. Well...they had it! So I treated myself to it and a pack pf paper that has a flesh tone color set in it.
I'm excited to try it out but it'll have to wait until later tonight as I'm about to do more running around with picking kids up, dance classes, etc. My daughter, Kaylee, is just as excited about this cartridge so I can't wait to tell her we have it!
How sad is it that all I've done with it so far is cut out paper dolls for the girls to play with!!!!
Last night after getting home from dance classes we dove right in and made a few mermaids. This morning it was the first thing they asked to do. Luckily after they went to bed last night I cut out 8 doll bodies and a few different hairstyles along with plain white dresses.
"Mommy? Can we make more dolls?" replaced my "Good Morning" from them. I'm glad they have taken an interest in my Cricut!
I'm actually going to begin working on a bride and groom doll. I'd like to get fancy with it. Both of my BIL's are getting married and it's kind of "my thing" to frame the invitation and add scrapbook stickers around it, etc. Now...I can make it ALL myself.
OH! BTW - I am sooooo buying the sticker machine thingy! $19.99 in Michaels? I think I can get away with that purchase next week.
I love that cartridge too, although I am sure I don't haev much use for it with two boys in the house. All they are interested in right now is blocks, balls, and Backyardigans. Oh, and Veggie Tales too. LOL!
Are you talking about hte Xyron sticker maker? I love that thing!!!!
