Well I had grand plans to do a ton of scrapbooking gifts for the holidays, but I didn't manage to get that much done, then I got the tonsil removal done (which went fine by the way) and well then the holidays hit...and well those are my excuses at least...it took a dear friend to pull me into an all day crop to get this scrapping bum back into gear...which is a good thing because I had a good layer of dust to dust off my supplies. Which is saddening considering how much I have..such a shame.
So I did get this book done. It is a gift for my Brother and SIL, I cut the arcylic myself and had hte hubby drill holes...although I am thinking that next time I'll do that myself. Bless his heart, but he cracked about half of them and then about a quarter the holes didn't line up.
But anyhoo....here are the pics. I have to do another one for my other brother and SIL.
Page one-bascially I don't like to have the pic on the cover because the arcylics can collect dust pretty easily. This way the pic is safely behind a layer of arcylic if you were to leave it on your coffee table or somewhere out in the open.
That turned out so, so good! I love it! Was it you that was talking about buying your own acrylic sheets, scoring them, and cutting them? If it was you, (sorry bad memory!) did you do that with this album? It looks great, I bet they will love it!!! Did you give it to them already? I think its so hard to hold onto gifts like this once they are finished. I want to give them to whoever I made them for the second I finish it!
