Here are picture's of the Valentines my kids and I made for their classes. The kids stamped the paper and punched out and addressed their name tags. They did blue sports theme for the boys and pink and red fashion theme for the girls. I punched out and assembled the pillow boxes and then the kids put the candy inside them. We also did candy boxes for the teachers and helpers too.
thanks ladies. It was a little work, but the kids really loved making them and I not only got "thank you for letting us make these mommy", but I got hugs and kisses too. My kids love to make things and prefer it over the store bought Valentines.
The pillow box is a die and I used my cuttlebug to make them.
I used the Sizzix # 655363 Bigz Die-Pillow Box. I had a little trouble with it at first with finding the right thickness of mats to use. It was cutting through the score lines. Hubby figured it out for me and I use one B mat and thin card board 3 pieces thick.
