Jake's teacher is pg & due in May with a little boy They are having a surprise shower for her on April 24 & are asked to bring a gift.
So of course...what's the first thing that pops into my mind? A mini album! I have a ton laying around here so no issue there. I need some cute baby boy paper/stuff though.

I am also going to knit her a cocoon & matching hat. Going to come up with some little saying to go with it, not sure what yet though.

I also thought about writing a note, telling her that I would photograph the new baby but I'm a bit scared I want to do a baby photoshoot SO bad but don't know if I'm ready! Of course it would be free so no huge deal if they weren't the greatest. If they suck she can go to a studio and have them done, right?

Oh well, lots to think about & 1 more thing to add to my list in addition to the mini acrylic wedding album & dd's invitations!

I think offering her a photo shoot would be nice! She might feel comfortable with having someone she know's do the photographs. Less stress.

You should do the photo shoot. If my best friend lived nearby us, I would have asked her hubby who does amazing work. Really those are the most precious treasured pics and I am sure she would be so flattered. Not to mention it is a great way to get your work out there as well.

I think all those ideas are awesome! And I think she would be honored for you to practice with her new baby with your photography!!
