I have never done anything like this and am not that creative but something compelled me to start scrapbooking. I went to a craft store tonight and spent $200 in all sorts of paper, books, and stickers and stuff. I am really excited to get started.

I am sure I will have a bunch of questions.

Thanks Ladies. I made 2 pages and will post them soon. I have a question - what is the best kind of glue should I use? I am just using plain craft glue and it makes some of the pieces shrivel up. (does that make sense?) What do you suggest?

I just use glue sticks and they work well for me. They make a special glue for gluing down pictures I think, but the cheap glue sticks work just fine!

I use cheap glue sticks for the paper stuff too, since most of them are archival safe now anyway...lol. They wised up fast. Craft glue is too wet for paper.

For photos I use photo mounts or double sided tape.

I also love glue dots for things that are a bit heavier/bulkier or oddly shaped and need a better stick.
