So my DH gave me 3 new Cricut carts for Mother's Day. They are the older Disney ones - Happily Ever After, Dreams Come True and Mickey & Friends

The Mickey one wasn't too bad (I made 2 different Mickey's) but oh my!!! To make the princesses?!?!?! It's crazy! There are so many little details to cut and glue on....I mean teeny, tiny little pieces!?!?!

Maybe because I can only cut as big as 5 inches on my machine for them???

Anyhow...I just had to moan for moment. I did manage to make a Cinderella, Ariel and Belle....but they were the simplest ones, with very few layers.

Just wow...none of my other carts are this complicated!

That's one of the reasons I'm not going to get those. I've heard that they're incredibly complicated. (That, and I'm totally a fonts person anyway.)

Get yourself a glue pen. It really helps when gluing small things because they have finer tips and you don't get glue everywhere.

Actually, I'm enjoying my small "X" Xyron sticker thingy on the small pieces...I set them through it as soon as I get it off the mat!

And I've realized to turn off the Paper Saver feature to get my Cricut to cut 5.5 inches! With it on, it was telling me I couldn't cut!?!

Anyhow...took a break from the princesses and made Mickey, Minnie and Pluto! Kind of liking that cart better since it's simpler!

BTW- Brit, I'm also a Font person and was hoping for the Mickey Font - DH got the Mickey & friends instead...he tried, right?
