you'll do great!
i was afraid of ruining pictures when i started too. I either scanned the originals and printed them off on photopaper until i got the hang of it, or just got doubles when i got film developed. that way if you ruin a picture, you still have one and could always make copies from it

I am like Lane6901 - I always have duplicates of my pics just in case.

Scrapbooking is an expression of your own style, so you can't screw it up. If you want some ideas of techniques and layouts, scrapbook stores usually offer classes and crop nights where you can go to learn and practice.

And you can always check out the pages that the girls have posted here for ideas, there are some very creative ladies in this bunch!

Have fun!!!

What I have done is made a page first and then I am going to add the pictures later! You can choose all the colors and embelishments you want, lay it all out and just leave a space for the pictures. Some people find this harder to do but I enjoy doing it this way. This also lets me pick out the pictures according to the pages I made on the book. If not, I woul have million pictures in one album haha.

I know you will do a great job!!
