Anywhere somewhere on your page use either circles, hearts, arrows, stars, scalloped edges. Just make it a repetitive theme on the page.
Examples…use more than one in different color or pattern papers, cut a picture in that shape. Find brads, lace paper with the pattern, or paper piecings. You could even use smaller circle behind a larger circle to make it look like a flower. Whatever you choose, use a couple of them.
I just couldn't get creative this weekend. Here's one of the few things I did get done. This is scraplifted from a page in a magazine, but as I typically do I flipped it and modified it. This will probably be the 1st page of my pg album. I'm waiting for a pic of DH & I, further along in this pg. My shapes are circles that I layered to create the flowers. (probably won't have the pink paper, just used that as a guide for the flower placements.)
Love the page! How exciting to get started on a long awaited book!! hmm, I am trying to get in touch with my physic powers and relay wether you should stick with the pink...LOL. But hey I should say about 80% of the time I am wrong with the sex.
