I have signed up for my first ever all day crop! It is Nov 21st (which seems so far away) and will be from 9 am-midnight. Now all I need to do is figure out how to organize and plan everything. I have really only scrapped at home so this is going to fun!
For those that have gone to all day crops how to organize your stuff and do you plan the layouts you are going to do before you get there?

I have never done an all day crop it sounds like fun!I have been trying to get in one in this area but the one I looked into was like $75 and that seemed a little price to me for pizza for lunch and subs for dinner.
How much did you pay?
Have fun I would say that you are going to have to pre-plan your LO's and make sure you have everything that you need for them.
I paid $25 for the whole day. It includes snacks and pizza. I have to find out but I think I will be responsible for my lunch and they will give us pizza for dinner. That is fine by me. I will either slip out and go get something or bring my lunch. I believe there will be prizes as well. They had some at the last one but I couldn't attend that one.
I think I am going to go through all my photos and pick the ones I want to scrap and then find layouts for them. I am also going to try my hardest to use a lot of stuff that I have already. I have a monthly budget that I can spend each ($50) and the fee is eating into that so not alot of money left over to spend that month and I want to stretch it out if I can.
Jen - $75 does seem a bit pricey but seeing how I have never been to one before I am not really sure what the average cost is.

I've been to a couple of all day crops. Most if it is all day and you are paying include lunch and dinner...although for sure check in. Most places I have been to also include drink, but one I went to did not.
I always have preplanned pages, from sketches to paper, to embellishments. I usually bring enough for 8 pages, but then I'll bring some extra pictures too incase I do get all 8 done. If there are things that I know I tend to grab everytime I scrap, I'll bring those too, even if I don't have a page planned to use them. Also ask if there is a discount on stuff you purchase during your crop, most stores offer like 10% or so.
They're a ton of fun, and it is nice to just sit and have that time to just scrap and laugh and create.
I've been to quite a few crops and I've paid between 15 - 30 for the whole day. The last one that I went to, and will be going to on a monthly basis is $15, and we bring a potluck item, and that covers lunch and supper, as there is usually so much left over foods for supper and a snack later LOL
The ones that I've paid 30 for, they provide lunch and supper and the go from 9 - 9.
Crops are a ton of fun and you get to meet ladies in your area/city that you probably wouldn't have met before. I love going to them, and to have 12 hour of uninterrupted scrapbooking time, I couldn't ask for more!
I hope you have a great time! I haven't been to one in a few years. I usually tried to pre-plan the pages and had the pics, papers, & embellishments sorted to make it easier and took along my typical tools I always use.
