I wanted to clean up the board and add a few things.

1. So I need some input. The sketches and cards subforum. Do you use them? Do we still want card challenges or should we just do those once in a while and not have the subforum.

For the sketch subforum I could instead request a sticky and then we can add in links to places with sketches instead of posting individual sketches.

2. The roll call that is stickied...as long as everyone is o.k with it I am going to unsticky that. It is an old one anyways.

3. Techniques that I post. I can have a new subforum created for them to go in but would you still like me to post it on the main forum and then just create a link to the post in the subforum. I just don't know how much everyone goes into the subforums and I don't want the techniques to get lost.

I don’t know that you want to get rid of either. It may not be easy to put the sketches in a sticky because there are multiple topics in there. Sticky topics are not very user friendly. Maybe combine the cards and sketches?

2. The roll call that is stickied...as long as everyone is o.k with it I am going to unsticky that. It is an old one anyways.
No argument here. We do a roll call every once in a while. I don’t think anyone has posted there in a while.

3. Techniques that I post. I can have a new subforum created for them to go in but would you still like me to post it on the main forum and then just create a link to the post in the subforum. I just don't know how much everyone goes into the subforums and I don't want the techniques to get lost.

Then you can add a subforum with techniques. Maybe make a post on the main board when a new technique is added and then link to it or just mention it. That will draw attention to it, I think.

ETA.... on second thought, maybe add a sub called inspiration and have new techniques and things like the title suggestions. I mean, still post those in the main board for quick reference, but then add them to the sub for future reference.

You have some awesome ideas. You are such a great co-host!!

I like the card forum, but I don't know how many other card makers are here.

I agree with the roll call one

I kinda think the newbie must haves sticky should go... when a newb comes to this board, they post their questions anyways.

I troll the sub forums still so I dont think your techniques would be lost...

I also don't use the challenges/crop thread or the layout thread.

I go into the subforums a lot, I just never post there. I think you could combine the sketches and cards subforums and then maybe put a subforum in the Layouts and Cards subforum for techniques? that way we have everything in one place.

O.k here is what I am thinking

I am going to delete the roll call sticky and also the newbie sticky. If there are any objections to this please let me know.

As for the subforums I am going to create one for Sketches and Cards. Any sketches can go in there or links to sketch sites. As for card challenges I think we can still have the occasional one but I like posting on the main forum.

I will have another subforum set up for Techniques and Inspiration. All new techniques will go in there as well as any type of inspiration that we find. Feel free to post things in there as well. I love finding new things online.
