Hey ladies. I have a question for you all.

I have been asked to make 25 rehearsal dinner invitations and I am trying to figure out what a reasonable amount to charge for them. They will be 4 1/4" x 5 1/5" in size. In total it will cost me $12.42 for supplies (that is 7 sheets of each color [8.5x11, blk & white] and 3 [3yd] spools of ribbon).

I was thinking of charging $1.50/card for a total of $37.50. Does that seem like an ok price for both me and them?

What would you charge?

** OK, my math is WAYYY off.

That sounds reasonable to me. I guess you could figure out how many hours it will take you to do the cards and then figure out if your profit is enough hourly when broken down.

That's exciting that someone has asked you to do these cards.

I think your pricing sounds reasonable. :-)

Thanks ladies. I think because it is my sister's boss that I will just charge $1/card that would be $25 and I would still make about a $12 profit. This being my first paying gig and all.

But from here on out, depending on the design, I will charge $1.50 and up.

I am so excited. I never really thought about doing this for a living you know.
