How are things going for everyone? Have you had your Easter meal yet?
We are enjoying the beautiful weather here. The kids have been in shorts. Yesterday we went to the park and then to my parents place for lunch. Today we had errands to do, I cut my hair coloured and then I made my easter treats for tomorrow's brunch at my parents.

Had one Easter meal with my moms side last Sunday, had to miss the Easter meal with my dads side today, and will have an Easter meal with DH's moms side tomorrow. I need to get DD's Easter basket done yet. So far the weekend hasn't been too eventful. DH is in the field and I have been on call for when he needs parts, food, a ride, etc. I have also been trying to get some housework done and some bills paid.

Today we're not doing anything except trying to get our house cleaned up to some degree. Yesterday we dyed eggs with our neighbors and went egg hunting (shortly after I rolled my ankle, so it's a painful weekend too). carrie had no intrest in either activity. We went to visit family last weekend, and they loaded the kids up with easter baskets. We don't really do an Easter meal.

We had a fantastic weekend! Felt so, so good to be home. We actually stayed home, too - there wasn't anything really going on and after spending the better part of 3 weeks in a hospital, it was nice to just be home with our boys.
Saturday I worked on organizing and cleaning Parker's room - was so, so sad to pack up a lot of his newborn clothes but exciting to look at all of his cute little summer outfits. Why do babies have to grow so fast?!? We also worked on laundry and getting things cleaned around here but still lots to do.
Sunday we set up a little egg hunt for Caden in the living room and then a little later in the morning we had an easter egg hunt in the front yards with our neighbors on both sides of us which was a lot of fun. I made a super yummy ham for dinner and we just had a really nice, quiet sunday
Now I'm just hoping to get more caught up with things this week as our house is still an unorganized mess! The spring cleaning bug has definitely bitten

We were so busy this past weekend!! Anson had a hockey game (in town thank goodness) Friday morning (lost 13-11, but he did get 5 goals!), then my neighbor (DH's psuedo sister) & I got the 4 kids together to dye Easter eggs.
Saturday, I baked cookies & cupcakes, then we went to Reanna's (neighbor/sister) for coffee, then my 2 had a birthday party. Came home & had a super yummy turkey dinner at Reanna's, then just hung out there for a bit & watched a movies.
Sunday, Anson went to the ER (he had been up all night screaming with an ear infection), Reanna & her 2 kids came for brunch, then we hid eggs for the kids outside for a huge Easter egg hunt. Then they came inside & decorated cookies. Reanna & the kids went home & we went to DH's aunt's for supper with his family.
VERY busy but LOTS of fun!! The boys got absolutely SPOILED. I took a picture of them next to their baskets & you can hardly see them! Sunday, we had no time to clean up the boys' Easter basket stuff, and then we got home late Sunday night. They had toys & chocolate & clothes ALL over the place. Yesterday morning, DH watched the boys while I ran to the grocery store. OF COURSE, DH's very "hoity toity" aunt came over (I had left my camera there Sunday). We have lived in our house 3 years now & this aunt has NEVER been here before. It just flipping figures she'd come over when my house looked absolutely awful. I feel so bad for DH! If it had been anyone else, I wouldn't care, but this aunt? Ugh. Not cool. So all day yesterday, I cleaned. Which waas my plan anyway! But yeah. That was the crappy part to my weekend, LOL.
