My cricut has saved me so much. It's a big expense in the first place, but it pays off quickly because it saves you from buying letters, diecuts, etc.

Oh I agree with the cricut! Only, i've been bad this week, my DF and parents gave me birthday money, which I all blew on 10 new cartridges haha
What I like to do, when I get to go to the states (because Canada has horrible prices) - is to use a 50% off coupon on a slab at Michales. I pick a slab that has either 2 or 3 of each paper, and split it and the price with my mother or/and aunt. That way we have A LOT of nice paper, and it comes to really good price per paper. That way we buy MORE slabs haha

I do that too ^^ We split them between me and my Mom, or me and SO's sister, there's usually at least 4 of each paper in there anyway.

Oh and if you're a cricut user, get some cardstock paper that is ridiculously ugly and that you paid some silly extra cheap price and that you know you'll never use so that you can make a test cut on it before doing it on your nice paper! No need to ruin your fancy paper and buy new one just because something turned out way too big or too small!

I only buy stuff when it's on sale or with coupons. Love Joann Fabrics mailers, though everything I buy is usually on sale. I just signed up for the Michaels stuff, so I'll see what I get from that.

I use coupons when I am able to shop in the store and I always look online for promo codes if I buy something online.
