My mom and I got talking about the Gypsy when I went to visit last weekend and she asked a pretty good question. Where you can only load your Cricut carts onto a Gypsy 1 time, what happens if you accidentally break your Gypsy or it quits working for some reason? Do you have to re-buy all your carts if you get a new Gypsy in order to put them on there?

That's a very good question. Hopefully you don't have to do that. Let's see if our lucky ladies who have a Gypsy can answer this question for us.

I was watching some videos on YouTube and one gal was doing a FAQ and that was one of the questions. She said that if something happens then they will assign your serial number of the Gyspy to a new one so that the carts could be loaded again. They just cant be added to a different serial numbered Gyspy. Did that make sense?

Ok I found the video again. It was a video on Gyspy vs SCAL not the FAQ one. She talks about it around 4 mins in. HTH
