I like the wood mount stamps a better than the clear mount because I can hold on to them a lot bettter than I can the acrylic block for the clear mount stamps. However, I do like how much less space the clear mount stamps take up!

I like being able to see just exactly where I'm placing the clear ones. I don't have many of either, but I do have both.

i have mostly clear mount, i like being able to see exactly where they will go down, but i prefer the wood mount now after using them more. They seem to give a sharper image, don't smear as much and press down evenly, where with the clear and acrylic blocks i just never know if my image is going to be perfect

I prefer wood blcok mounted ones, While I like being able to see exactly where the stamp is with the clear stamps, the wood block mounted ones have a sharper image.

I would have to agree... I have both, but if they could do something with the clear mounts and make it more stable like the wooden ones are, that would be awesome
