We're under a blizzard warning starting this afternoon and accuweather has us getting 19.5"+. We have flurries and blowing right now but the big stuff isn't supposed to hit until this afternoon. We'll see! I'm interested to know if it will be as bad as they claim. If it is I'm really hoping better judgment will prevail and my husband won't try to drive to work tomorrow in it - I told him to take my car today (SUV w/ 4WD and full coverage, duh) but he didn't. Ugh. Yesterday I ran to the store to get a few things for food just incase we lose power (*knock on wood* really, really hoping that doesn't happen) but really I went to get the hooks and a few other things I needed to work on my space over the next few days
How is everyone else holding up? Part of me thinks this isn't going to live up to the hype but I'm very aware I could be eating those words tomorrow!

Yup county south of us has blizzard warning but we just have winter storm warning I am excited for it haha...but then again I don't have anywhere far to drive. As long as we don't lose power it doesn't bother me!
Ours is not living up to the hype so far, but i think it's cause I'm much beter prepared this year. Last year we were without power for 4 days with a brand spanking new baby. This year we live in a house with a fireplace, so if it goes out we have a bit of a heat source.
I can't tell how much accumulation we have cause it's so windy. I have dunes in my yard higher than a foot, but then you can see my neighbor's driveway, so I'm guessing we're at 3-4 inches (much less than the 7 or more) that we were supposed to have around now.
We were house bound anyway since we all have the flu, so it's just us hoping that the power doesn't go out... other than that no change for us (they closed the schools yesterday in anticipation of the blizzard)
