Tags are a great way to use ribbon. I also have a border punch that weaves the ribbon in, and love that too.

I did this page the other night. It's for a friend's album that I made when she was prenant. Her baby is turning 2 so this is the birthday page for her to add to the album. I've been good about making pages for her to add to it. She's not a scrapper!

Anyhow...the ribbon is simple. Just under the paper piece intended for her to journal on.

Sorry about the angle, kept getting a shadow otherwise.

A border punch? That goes along the outside of the page? And weaves ribbon in while it punches? Please tell me more, I might "need" to get one .

I love ribbon!! I don't use it as much as I should though - more on my cards than my scrapbook pages.

Ribbon as tabs:

Ruffled and pleated:

As a border:

I love these examples.

Kristy, that ribbon pocket is amazing. You'll have to post your instructions on how you did it for us.

Here's a couple of pages I did with that border punch.

right side, glare makes it hard to see, but the gold shimmery ribbon is woven up the mat.

Tamara.... I love the flower stems.

The ribbon pocket was really easy. I just took strips of ribbon and woven them on the bottom half of a page. then I attached each pice of ribbon with a brad on each side. I used larger pearl ones for this page.
