How do you make brackets and frames for your pages. I faked a frame yesterday (its a little lopsided I admit) but wondering if there is a better way to make them without just guessing. I am assuming a bracket is just a frame in two pieces...
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've not done brackets too much, but have cut them myself from paper (draw with a pencil then cut with my trusty scissors). I also know some of the cricut carts have them, but I've not cut any with the cricut.

As far as a frame, I've matted my pics more and really haven't made too many frames. I did make one the other day with my page I did the piercing on using my exacto knife. I measured the size I wanted it to me and then and cut out the rectangle, then tore the paper to create the edge I wanted to frame the photo. If you don't have an exacto knife, you can poke a hole with your scissors and then cut out the frame.

I use my cricut to cut a frame...but I rarely frame things on my LO's.

I think they're different (at least in my crazy mind). Brackets are 2 pieces, a frame to me is a solid rectangle, circle, heart (any shape) that is cut out in the middle.

I hope that makes sense what I'm typing.

I don't really use either on my pages. I sometimes do 2 piece mats, but it's still a mat that the picture goes on top of rather than the other way around.

Yes brackets and frames are a little different. I have never done a bracket.

I use my cricut for almost all my brackets. Here are all the ones I consider brackets on my pages: () [] {} <>

My frames I cut with my exacto knife and ruler to the size I want.
