Back to the basics 
Make a layout using no tools that are more sophisticated than scissors, pencils/pens, paper punches, stickers or stamps. No Cricut, no printers, no Cuttlebugs or Slices, just get in there and use your own two hands!

Oh me too and I still have several alpha stencils I use on occasion. I'll probably use one for this.

Here's mine - for our anniversary album.
I used a couple of paper punches for the flowers & a large stencil for the #, found some stickers buried underneath stuff, and inked my edges. Other then the ink, I haven't pulled these out in a while.
