So between Mother’s day and my Birthday I was able to get some Scrapping loot. Any way I ordered from
HappyNScrappin in Arizona (my AZ friends would have to pay tax to order there) As always ordering on like some of the stuff I liked better in person and some of the stuff, I wouldn’t have bought had I seen it in person. But shipping is cheaper than gas and I bet I had a better selection of clearance than the stores in Norman would have and I save hot dogs and pizza at Sam’s club too. But seriously we haven’t been to town in Norman since before Christmas!
MY LOOT OUT OF THE BOX!
So the first picture is the three ranges that I bough for boy AKA Beau but I often use boy papers for my girls too! In the back is Dawsom whoich is dinosaur themed but I didn’t get any dino paper going more for the easier to use general use stuff. In the front on the left is Twisted Lime by My Minds Eye. I love them, which is probably why I bought so much of their stuff this time. The red while and blue paper is called American Made and it is also MME. Not pictures is a pad of cardstock that has 14 sheets 6 colors of reds whites and blues. It is from a different range but I figured the colors would work for a lot of stuff except the dark blue doesn’t match the cover. So I am bit pithy over that… as you can see each of these boy ranges has a nice dark blue accent and it is pretty match forgiving color.
Here are the girl papers! I guess it is a good thing I have twice as many girls as boys and it seems like every picture I take is of Tessa. In the back Left corner is one stray sheet of Savannah unicorn, I am not sure what I was thinking when I bought it but it is definitely cute. Under that is Lil’ Miss and I just have to say I would have bought them in person. I don’t usually scrap my girls in brown. That said I am sure I will love whatever page comes from it! Beneath that is Elizabeth Park, I love the butterflies, There are only two sheets but since I bought two of each you can see both sides! In the middle of the back on the left is Beautiful Dreamer, I don’t like one of their sheets but I am sure that once I chop it up into pieces no one can tell it was not a fav. I must not have liked it it is the sheet in the very farthest back that you can’t really see. Any way next that is more Lime Twist for girls I love the bright teals, pinks, and purples in that range. On top of that is the yellow berrylicious, I can just see a baby eating page from that set! The paper on top of that is Abby Road set from MME. On line I thought it was Christmas Ornaments now I can see that it is Japanese Lanterns… I wonder if any one will notice, but I guess that just makes it more versatile. In the back of the right side is Pretty in Pink, I thought I would love the roase paper but not so much it is a bit more stylized than I thought. In the front is the Making Memories Just Chillin with the greens teals and orange.
Here are my Holiday papers. I honestly didn’t scrap any Christmas pictures for the longest time and when I realized this I stopped buy Christmas stuff and bought a photoalbum for all my old Christmas pictures and was done with it. I started scrapbooking Christmas about 4 years ago, but by then I had laid off the stress of trying to scrap the same pictures different year with different titles, journaling and just did whatever felt froggy and I usually scrap them in Spring or summer. Starting again in the back left corner is Halloween, which I never celebrated as I never understood why you teach your children never to take candy from stranger except one day a year, bit with two Halloween Birthdays it is inevidtable to scrap a little of it now. The brand is SEI range is Spooks. I never liked SEI papers but for 24 sheets for $4 I figured you can’t mess up Halloween paper. I would actually like to see girly Halloween paper because seriously who wants to dress their daughter up as a butterfly/princess/fairy and scrap them on Orange and Black? On top of that still to the right is “I believe” again another MME paper this was a kit too. In the middle back
Are six sheets of deck the halls I wanted the whoel pack but restrained myself because I might actually scrap some spring/summer pictures and need something other than Christmas! In the middle front are the embellies I got that were for Christmas, 75% off cha-ching. In the bacl right is the SEI Kris Kringle, which has glitter and pearl sheet. I am happy with it and used it for Beau’s winter page. The last set is
State of the heart again MME, I love Valintine paper I mean you can do anything with it after all Scrapbooking is all about love and you can scrapbook anything with red, pink and love Boy, Girl, horse, house love has it covered!
I realized when I was done that a few embellies didn’t make the pictures so imagine some snowflake brads and white felt flowers with a gem in the middle. Oh yes and a felt fraidy cat boarder.
