This month's weekly challenge is a Blind Scrap. Here are the materials and instructions to make the page. After the week has ended, I will post the picture of the inspiration page.

Materials needed:
1 sheet of cardstock
1 piece of cardstock or pattern paper to be a photo mat. 4" x 6" size
3 strips of patterned paper - sizes are listed below in instructions
3 photos - 1 4"x6", 2 3"x3"

Instructions:
  1. Cut three pieces of coordinating patterned paper to the following sizes: 1" x 12", 1" x 11", 6" x 8"
  2. Adhere the 1" x 12" strip 3" from the left side of the cardstock, in lengthwise position.
  3. Adhere the 6" x 8" piece of patterned paper 2" from the top of the cardstock and flush to the long strip of paper.
  4. Cut off a 1" diagonal piece from the 1" x 11" strip and adhere 3" from the bottom of the cardstock, overlapping the other papers.
  5. To make the photo mat, cut a 4" x 6" piece of coordinating cardstock or pattern paper and ink the edges.
  6. Adhere the 4"x6" photo onto the photo mat and adhere mat 1" from the left edge of the cardstock and flush to the bottom strip of patterned paper. Adhere the 2 3"x3" photos to the right of the 4"x6" photo centering them on the 6"x8" piece of pattern paper that is not covered by the 4"x6" photo.
  7. Add your title.
  8. Embellish how you want.
  9. Journal in the open space.
I look forward to seeing everyone's pages.

I won't be able to do this until we get back (we're leaving for my brother's wedding tomorrow) on Monday. When is the week supposed to end?

It's supposed to end on the last day of this month (next Tuesday), but I can also extend it if we all need more time before I reveal the page that these instructions are for.

Sounds like a cool page! Can't wait to try this one! Hopefully I will get some time now that we are back. I might be demanding some "me" time from my DH and kids by the end of the day!

Very nice Nicole. Here is mine, I realized after i took the picture i forgot to turn the tags the right way, and i chose to cut the diagonal lengthwise. The pictures I wanted to use wouldn't crop to 2 3x3s so i just used a 3x6 and added the 3rd picture underneath

Thanks! I had never thought about doing this, but when I was looking for papers I was having a hard time finding something to work for that 6x8 piece. I ended up using a page from one of those "pre-made page" packs...you know, the ones that have squares already positioned for you to put your pictures on, and just cut part of it out. This one in particular had a large } on it right thru the 6" line but I really wanted the white squigglies showing so cut the paper down the 6" line and played with it underneath the pics to see where to cut for the 8". Underneath that baby bottle embellie is a portion of that } I might have to try that "technique" more often

Great job ladies!! I realized I had forgotten to post the actual page the instructions were for.

Here's the original page that the instructions were for.
