Iron the fabric and the cut out pattern, not sure it helped much

Pin and cut. This is the hard part trying to determine what they want you to do with all those piece to get them on the pattern right! (4 whole pieces!)

Where do I find the chart to cut the elastic? On the pattern that took me 20 minutes to fold up properly? DRATS!

What is a sewing project witout a bobbin issue. i swear I just openned it and all the piece flew out. After my poor DH put it back together for me he closed it and lo adn behold their was a diagram on the fron of the casing. DUH!

Look it kind of looks like the nightgown it hopes to become tomorrow. All i have to do is add the bottom ruffle! Then hand if over to the little princess who will love it crooked seams and all!

Love the cartoon in the first post Nicole!! And you are right.....what is a sewing project without bobbin problems!! My bobbin holder popped apart last time I used my sewing machine. Not fun to get that little spring and the little lever back into/onto the bobbin holder! The night gown looks great to me!!

Kelsey i looked high and low for an easy pattern, and even though I do not sew my mother does and my grandmother was a seamstress so I have been around it. Plus I had some of my on lines friends encourage me to chose this pattern.

Sew I have a board on Pinterest for sewing. There is the cute picture of a series of little Disney type Princess dresses. When I was looking at them last night I realized they were all variations of my pattern! OMG I do not know why it bothers me so much that this lady is selling these dress for between $40 and $50. Seriously it should take about 2 hours and $5 to make these dresses. So I am going to see about making some Princess dresses for Scarlett for Christmas.

I think I am going to try these six Princesses.

I understand the feelings on etsy prices. Sometimes I feel like stuff on there is WAY overpriced...but most of the time I could make it myself. lol

and it turned out really cute!

I only have the one pattern but I googled images for it and I am AMAZED by all the beautiful variations. So I might buy the smaller size and make Tessa some dresses that match Scarlett.
